Gladson Awako: Great Olympics captain ready for CAFCL football with Hearts of Oak


Great Olympics FC deputy captain, Gladson Awako says he is ready to join neighbours Hearts of Oak to enjoy CAF Champions League football next season. 

The Rainbow team won the just ended Ghana Premier League and set to represent the Sub-Saharan country in Africans first tier inter club competition. 

Awako during his days with TP Mazembe featured for the DR Congo side in the elit competition and seem interested to have a feel once again.

The playmaker has been on the list of the Phobians for a long while now and has vowed the deal will be good for his career. 

Hearts of Oak are reportedly on the verge of securing his signature after agreeing personal terms with the player. 

“I am ever ready to join Hearts of Oak. I am a footballer and that is my work” he told Atinka FM.

“If I feel moving to Hearts of Oak will help my career why not.”

“Even Harry Kane is moving from Tottenham Hotspurs just to get the chance to play in the Champions League.”

Gladson Awako in the league scored 6 goals, assisted 5 times, winning 4 MVPs.
