Ghanaian prolific forward Jordan has vowed to fight for the Black Stars of Ghana to lift the AFCON trophy if the opportunity comes.

The Terengganu FC II striker has scored more than a century of goals for three different clubs in abroad.

The former Wassaman United attacker won the Malaysian Premier League ‘Golden Boot’ 2020/2021 season after grabbing 16 goals in 12games to guide his his club to finish third on the league table.

Recently, the goal-machine netted twice for his side Terengganu FC II to pick a 4-2 away victory over Sarawak United in the Malaysian Cup quarter finals.

The 26-year-old knack attacker has picked up an absolute performance since joining the Malaysian giants from Philippines side Kaya Futbol Club–Iloilo.

Jordan Mintah is yet to wear a national team jersey in his footballing career.

Speaking to Sir Martin on ghanasportspage.com about expectations on his national team call up, Mintah revealed “Of course, I will come. As for me am ready for everything.

As a player you just need to be ready. I am ready and I know that I can play in Black Stars because is just a football and is just all about experience. I know that I can play.

Am not just talking but if they give me that opportunity I can prove myself because I know that I can play and I believe that…

“Is not like Black Stars need goals but in every team every coach will expect you to score. As a striker is your job to score and to create some assist. You just have to score your goals as a striker.

How can you market yourself? You just need to score and make assist, if the game is not even going on well you have to try your best to create assist. He said.

Mintah in currently hoping for his side to win the Malaysian Cup as they go into the semi finals.
