Accra Hearts of Oak head coach Kim Grant has been confirmed a UEFA Licence A certified coach having successfully completed a UEFA Licence A coaching course and successfully written the requisite examination, and awaiting the certificate from the European football governing body.
The Phobian manager was said to be holding only UEFA Licence B certificate which is equivalent to a CAF Licence B, which does not qualify him to be head coach of a premier league in Ghana according to the requirements of the Club Licencing Board of the Ghana Football Association.
On the contrary, Fox FM gathers that the Coaches Association of England, where Kim began his managerial career, has officially notified the Club Licencing Board of Ghana confirming that the former Elmina Sharks Youth coach is a qualified UEFA Licence A coaching certificate holder, who has completed the course and awaiting the arrival of his certificate.
Fox FM sports desk can further reveal, that the Club Licencing Board has confirmed the news and Kim is now officially recognised as a UEFA Licence A coaching certificate holder, who qualifies to continue his job as head coach of Accra Hearts of Oak.
Accra Hearts of Oak appointed the former Ghana International as head coach of the club in November last year, and has since led the team through the Normalization Committee of the GFA Special Competiton and other ceremonial matches, preparing the team for the 2019/2020 football season.
Kim has prepared the team for all these while and is getting ready for season with a target of winning the league title for the Phobians for the first times in about ten years.
