The Management of KaySports, led by its CEO Kwame Owusu Ameyaw, have donated items needed in the fight against the spread of the novel coronvirus pandemic to the Women’s Premier League clubs.
The items include 160 boxes of bottled water, and 16 boxes of disposable face masks to be shared among all the 16 premier league clubs playing in the Women’s Premier League. The presentation was done on Monday at the Ghana Football Association secretariat in Accra.
In calculation, all the 16 clubs in the Women’s top flight division will receive at least 10 boxes of bottled water each, and a box of disposable face masks in a move to help curb the spread of the covid-19 pandemic.
Chairperson of the Women’s Premier League Committee, Hilary Boaten and her vice Rosalind Amoh received the items on behalf of the clubs.
“We are starting whatever we are doing in Ghana with the Women’s League so that at the end of the day when the women are comfortable and they are happy, KaySports is going to help change the dynamics of how sports are being held in Ghana”, Kwame Owusu Ameyaw, CEO of KaySports said during the presentation.
