Liberian referees for the CAF Champions League first round qualifier first leg clash between Ghana’s Asante Kotoko and Etoile Sportive du Sahel will arrive in Ghana today, Friday ahead of the match scheduled for Sunday, 15th September, 2019 at the Baba Yara sports stadium.
Referees for the match Hassan Corneh (centre referee), Sekon S. Kanneh Jnr, Joel Wonka Doe and fourth official Jerry Yekeh will touch down in Accra by 16:30GMT and will connect a flight to Kumasi with the arrival time pegged at 19:00GMT.
Nigeria’s top club official Alhaji Babagana Kalli the Match Commissioner however arrived earlier on Friday in Accra, Ghana at the Kotoka International Airport and will proceed to Kumasi by 11:00am.
Asante Kotoko opponents Etoile, as part of their travel arrangements, will arrive in Kumasi at the Kumasi International Airport by 14:00GMT this afternoon and check in at their hotel ahead of their CAF required mandatory training at the match venue, the Baba Yara sports stadium in on Saturday.
Asante Kotoko on the other hand will have two training sessions at the Baba Yara sports stadium today, with the first session scheduled for 9:00am and the second at 15:00GMT.
The crucial game has been scheduled for Sunday, 15th September, 2019 at 15:00GMT.
