Premier League giants Liberty Professionals have named David Ocloo as the club’s new head coach as the club gets ready for the start of the new league season later this month.
Ocloo, 35, is noted for his attacking football and player development and his appointmnet is set to help the Scientific Soccer Lads to rediscover their wonderful display of possessive football.
He replaces David Reginald Asante who is currently undertaking a coaching course abroad having taken a sabbatical leave from the Dansoman based club.
The former Wa All Stars trainer comes with huge experience and is expected to lead Liberty to a respectable position in the league upcoming league season.
Club CEO, Madam Linda Ansong, spoke to the club’s official site explaining the motive behind the appointment of Ocloo;
“We liked David’s enthusiasm and fresh outlook on how to play football. He is ambitious and wants to grow with us. We also like that he has a clear picture of what we want to build going forward .We have one of the youngest teams in the Premier league and we feel he will provide these boys the best chance at maximising their potential”.
