Sunday fixtures of the MTN FA Cup Round of 64 recorded several casualties as the upsets by lower division clubs left several premier league giants fallen.
The likes of Asante Kotoko, Berekum Chelsea, Eleven Wonders were all edged out by second-tier sides Asokwa Deportivo, Unity FC and Kenyase Dreams FC respectively.
In the all premiership affair fixtures, Medeama SC edged Karela United while defending league champions Aduana Stars fell at home to Bechem United in Dormaa. Accra Hearts of Oak who last won the trophy 20 years ago, came gun blazing at the Accra sports stadium where two goals from midfielder Frederick Ansah Botchway and Joseph Esso did the job for the Phobians to eliminate two times quarter finalists Danbort FC.
There are four more matches to be played on Monday to complete the list for the round of 32 stage of the 2019/2020 season.
