Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Asante Kotoko, Nana Yaw Amponsah was full of praise for Brazilian midfielder Fabio Gama, particularly with his quick adaptation to the Ghana Premier League.
Many fans and connoisseurs of the game never believed in the 28-year-old Brazilian attacking midfielder before he kicked a ball in the Ghana Premier League.
Gama has played an important role in helping Asante Kotoko in the Premier League where the club placed second after the season and are in the quarter-final of the MTN FA Cup.
The start to his Premier League career certainly pleases CEO Nana Yaw Amponsah.
“Fabio Gama’s passing on our pitches, something he’s not used to, was far better than any Ghanaian player I watched this season,” he said in an interview on Asempa FM’s Ekosiisen show.
The former Botafogo midfielder set up 7 goals, scoring 5 with 3 MVP awards in 28 appearances in the Premier League.
