Kotoko Chief Executive Officer, Nana Yaw Amponsah, is set to meet Maxwell Baako today over his contract renewal.
Baako’s running contract with Kotoko expires on 31st October 2020 and the Ghanaian giants is working around the clock to secure the signature of the highly-rated winger.
The former Karela prodigious winger joined Asante Kotoko in the 2018/19 season following his sublime performance.
He had an incredible debut season with Asante Kotoko during the CAF Confederation Cup competition until he sustained a knee injury.
He underwent knee surgery which kept him out of action for several months.
The 24-year-old could only make few appearances in the just truncated 2019/20 Ghana Premier League season.
It is believed that the likes of Lagon Cities and Medeama SC are also monitoring how the discussion will end as they are after the lad to give him a juicy deal.
