Asante Kotoko have announced the addition of the experienced goalkeepers’ coach to their technical team.
Two-time CAF Champions League winners Asante Kotoko confirmed the appointment of Najau Issah Laskaya as the club’s new goalkeepers’ trainer today via Twitter.
Issah is reuniting his former colleague, Maxwell Konadu who worked together at the Black Stars ‘B’ as they hope the clinch the 2020/21 Ghana Premier League title.
Najau before joining Kotoko has played a pivotal role with Premiership side Legon Cities last season.
His arrival, will now leave Joe Baah and Sampson Appiah in a state of conundrum-whether they will relinquish their position or not.
Najau has previously handled Wa All Stars, Black Queen’s, Black Maidens, Black Princesses and the Black Stars B.
He will also work as the goalkeepers coach for the senior national team of Ghana under Coach CK Akonnor.
