Macall Mensah has been appointed as the Communications Director of Division One League side Sekondi Hasaacas Football Club, the club has confirmed.
In a statement released on Tuesday, the one time premier league champions announced the appointment of the young and enterprising journalist, giving details of his profile. Below is the full statement by Hasaacas on the appointment of Macall.
“The Astute Media Personality and vociferous Broadcaster affectionately called “The Axeman” is the new Head of the Club’s Communication Department.
Macall holds an undergraduate degree from the Pentecost University where he studied Bsc Business Administration with a major in Marketing. He is also an alumnus of Adisadel College.
Through the years he has worked as a Sports Journalist for Melody FM for 4 years, before he had a short stint as a Sports Pundit with Empire Fm, and finally moving to Global Media Alliance’s YFM.
He is currently the Head of Sports at YFm Takoradi.
He comes with the theoretical and practical experiences gained from handling several issues relating to Public Relations and Communications and Marketing.
This is part of the numerous changes ongoing at the Club in preparation for the coming season”.
