At the 45th edition of the Sports Writers Association (SWAG) awards night held Saturday, October 10th, 2020, at Swiss Spirit Alisa Hotel in Accra, Elizabeth Addo was capped the best Ghanaian female footballer for year 2019/20 footballing season.
Grace Asantewaa and Janet Egyiri were other competing nominees for the award.
Elizabeth, who plies her footballing trade for China Jiangsu Suning was tremendously outstanding in the Chinese Women’s Super League and the Ghanaian women’s national team for the 2019/20 footballing season.
Her accomplishments could not simply go unnoticed by the footballing fraternity and well-deserving of the award.
