Kumasi Asante Kotoko Board member, Kwadwo Boateng Gyenfi has debunked reports circulating in the media of a purported rift between the board members and the club’s Chief Executive Officer, Nana Yaw Amponsah.
Rumors have it that there were problems between the CEO and some members of the board Asante Kotoko, making it very uncomfortable for both parties to work together.
In an exclusive interview with Kumasi-based Hello FM, Kwadwo Boateng Gyenfi debunk those claims in the section of the media, stating that there is a strong and healthy working relationship between the CEO and all the members of the board.
“I can tell you there is a good relationship between the board and the Chief Executive Officer, ” he said
“There are no issues between the board and the management. They are all speculations. Sometimes I listen to some of your submissions and some other stations and it’s amazing the kind of stories you put out. They are so calculated.
“If you(media) love Kotoko then I think you shouldn’t do that. We should all support the team with a good heart. That kind of speculations won’t help Kotoko in any way. In fact, we’re doing our best, ” Boateng Gyenfi added.
