UEFA has set up a recovery plan by providing economic support to the federations. Via the HatTrick program, which serves football development projects within each of the federations, the European body announced today that it has released an envelope of € 236.5 million which will have to be distributed among its 55 members. All federations will receive a check for € 4.3 million which can be used according to everyone’s priorities.
Already last Thursday, UEFA made an advance payment of € 70 million to clubs that had released players during Euro 2020 qualifiers. FIFA also made an advance payment of € 138 million to its 211 members . This sum, which should make it possible to face the current crisis, corresponds to the aid for the years 2019 and 2020.
