Asante Kotoko head coach Kjetil Zachariassen has named his final 18-man squad for their CAF Champions League match against Nigerian side Kano Pillars this Saturday.
The Ghanaian giants are scheduled to depart Ghana via airplane this morning to Abuja before enplaning to Kano for the match against Kano Pillars on Saturday. Norwegian coach Kjetil Zachariassen named his final squad after the final training session on Wednesday evening when he trimmed the initial 23-man squad to 18, dropping five players including experienced Okrah.
Midfield enforcer Jordan Opoku, experienced star Augustine Okrah, winger Martin Antwi and goalkeeper Kwame Baah were the victims of the trimming with Okrah being the most surprising name missing out on the trip to Kano.
Skipper Felix Annan and Osei Kwame are the two goalkeepers who made the final cut. The final squad is listed below:

Defenders: Empem Dacosta, Augustine Sefa,Stephen Ayiku Tetteh,Evans Owusu, Patrick Yeboah, Habib Mohammed, Wahab Adams
