The Executive Council of the Ghana Football Association (GFA) has, under Article 52 of the GFA Statutes, appointed Madam Habiba Atta Forson as chairperson of a seven-member Women’s FA Cup Committee to manage the women knock out competition.
The committee shall be in office for a tenure of one year. The Women’s FA Cup Committee has been mandated to create and promote ideas and policies and programmes for the implementation of the FA Cup to ensure the overall success of the competition.
Moreover, the Committee has been tasked to ensure that sponsors, partners and all stakeholders of the competition derive the desired benefits for the resources they invest in the event.
