Premier league giants Ashangigold SC completed the signing of Bechem United skill winger Yaw Annor on a three years deal to bolster the squad as part of their preparations for the 2020/2021 CAF Confederation Cup competition.
Annor completed his move to the Obuasi based club on Tuesday after signing the three-year deal at the office of the Ashgold club President, Dr. Kwaku Frimpong in Kumasi. The signing of the deal was witnessed by Nana Kwasi Darling, CEO of Bechem United, who doubles as agent of the player.
As a matter of urgency, Annor has been arranged to under his medicals at the Champion Divine Clinic (owned by Ashgold club President Dr Kwaku Frimpong) in Kumasi on Wednesday. It must noted that the deal has already been signed while the player awaits his medicals on Wednesday.
As part of the deal, ghanasportspage.com can disclose that the player (Yaw Annor), as according to the deal, is entitled to a signing on fee of GH₵30,000 and this goes to him as a player and not meant to be the actual transfer fee.
While the deal has already been signed pending medicals, ghanasportspage.com can report that AshantiGold is yet to receive the release letter which confirms the release of the player from the selling club – Bechem United. This is expected to be done as soon as other aspects of the transfer is fully completed.
The inclusion of Annor, an energetic and tough-to-handle on the field Annor is expected to be a major boost for AshantGold as they prepare to lift the flag of Ghana high in next season’s Confederation Cup.
