Ghanaian giants Asante Kotoko SC has stepped up move to secure the services of goal monger Shafiu Mumuni.
The move for the former Ashanti Gold striker has become a necessity following Kotoko’s failure to land a deal with Ugandan striker Stephen Mukwala.
Shafiu Mumuni has been without a club after the expiration of his contract with the Miners.
