Premier league giants Accra Hearts of Oak have arrived in Accra safely after completing their 11-day preseason camping at the Glow Lamp Academy facility near Cape Coast in the Central region.
Coach Edward Odoom’s side wound up their preseason with a slim 1-0 win in their last friendly match against Elmina Sharks on Thursday afternoon, after which the team returned to the capital.
After arriving in Accra, the playing body, management members as well as members of the technical team, led by Board Member Alhaji Akambi, paid a visit to the central mosque and the national Chief Imam in Accra on Friday afternoon.

Hearts of Oak are scheduled to begin their 2020/2021 Ghana Premier League campaign with a trip to Dormaa Ahenkro, where they will be hosted by two times league champions Aduana Stars on Saturday, November 14, 2020. The club’s visit to the national Chief Iman, Osmanu Nuhu Sharubutu at the central mosque is seek prayers and blessings as they begin yet another premier league campaign.
The Phobians have not won the league title since they last did in the 2008/2009 season, and look forward to ending this drought in the coming season.
