Accra Hearts of Oak were simply unstoppable on Sunday when they took on Dreams FC in a matchday five-fixture as they outclassed their opponents to win 3-0 at the Accra sports stadium.
Dreams Football Club recorded their second defeat of the season after losing 3:0 to Accra Hearts Of Oak at the Accra Sports Stadium in match week 5 of the Ghana Premier League.
A brace from Michelle Sarpong and a goal from Obeng Jnr was enough to hand the Phobians their first win of the season.
The lads after going down in the first half responded quickly after the break – Abel Manomey’s through ball set Dantani up with Attah but the striker missed what was the team’s best chance of the day.
Assistant Manager Winfred Dormon made two quick substitutions right after the first half by introducing Emmanuel Ocran for Agyenim Boateng and defender Ibrahim Abdullah for Issah Yakubu who picked up an injury in the first half. Joseph Esso was also introduced in the last 15 minutes of the game.
“In all, it was a bad day at the office but Winfred Dormon says defeat like this comes as a wake-up call and his boys will respond in our next game”. According to dreamsfc.com.gh
