Ghana’s U-20 side the Black Satellites will be out for the semi final encounter against Niger on Tuesday, December 15, 2020 as they look to qualify for the finals of the tournament, and to secure a ticket to the 2021 U20 Africa Cup of Nations to be staged in Mauritania.
Coach Karim Zito’s side will engage their Nigerien U-20 counterparts at the Stade Charles de Gaule at 16:60 GMT-15:30GMT as on Tuesday as the two sides battle for a spot in the final.
Prior to the tournament, FA boss Kurt Edwin Simeon Okraku urged the Black Satellites to fight to reach the finals of the WAFU Zone B tournament, advance to the 2021 U20 Africa Cup of Nations to be staged in Mauritania, and surge to qualify for the next FIFA U-20 World Cup in Indonesia in 2021. The battle begins tomorrow against Niger.
On the other hand, La Cote D’Ivoire will also play against Burkina Faso in the next semi final game at the same venue.
