Premier League side Aduana Stars have given the players a one week break from camp for the purposes of the festive season, giving the players the chance to spend the Christmas with their families and friends.
This has been made possible due to calendar of the Ghana Football Association for the ongoing football season, which puts the ongoing Ghana Premier League on a one week, 4 days break.
The ongoing 2020/2021 GPL season has been scheduled to resume into action on Friday, January 1 to Monday January 4, 2021 with week 7 fixtures. This has paved the way for the clubs to make internal arrangements to allow their players have some time to celebrate the Christmas with their families.
Aduana Stars played against Berekum Chelsea on Monday in the last fixture of the GPL match Day 6, where the interesting Bono derby ended in a 1-1 stalemate.
The players were given break for the Christmas right after the game against Berekum Chelsea in Berekum, and by the club’s arrangements, will resume a week after. Specifically, the players have been told to return to camp on Monday, December 28, 2020.
Aduana Stars will lock horns with Accra Great Olympics on Sunday, January 3, 2021 at the Nana Agyemang Badu II Park in Dormaa in match Day 7 of the GPL.
