The playing body of Asante Kotoko SC has rejected a proposal from the club to restructure the winning bonus of their Africa matches.
According to grapevine source, the Management of the club has made two key significant changes of which the players have think it is not a fair deal.
Information available to Ghanasportspage.com suggest that the Management is yet to pay the winning bonus of Nouadhibou due to the new structure.
It is claimed that the Nana Yaw Amponsah led Management told the players that they can only receive winning bonus of $600 until they have qualified for the group stage of the ongoing CAF Champions League competition.
Another proposal was that the players will again receive winning bonus of $800 in the in the group stage only when they have qualified to the next stage of the competition.
Nonetheless, a report from the playing body claimed that they have rejected it and have requested from Management to pay the Nouadhibou winning bonus.
Apart from the Nouadhibou winning bonus, the Management is yet to settle the players for the Legon Cities and Dreams FC winning bonus in the Ghana Premier League.
Asante Kotoko will travel to Tarkwa on Sunday, December 27, 2020, before the move to Sudan to play with Al Hilal for the second leg of the final phase of the CAF Champions League preliminary round of matches.
