Accra Great Olympics have appointed former Accra Hearts of Oak forward Yaw Preko as the new head coach of the club.
Yaw Preko has been appointed new head coach of the “Oly Dade” side to replace coach Annor Walker, who, according to reports, has not been able to discharge his duties as expected due to health related issues.
Coach Annor Walker has been absent from the dug out for the “Accra Landlords” in the last two premier league matches, and the club has proceeded to replace him with Yaw Preko to steer the affairs of the coaching helms of the club.
The three times Ghana Fa Cup winners did not state the duration for Yaw Preko’s appointment, but the former Accra Hearts of Oak assistant coach is expected to help Great Olympics finish the current league season in a respectable position, and most importantly, survive relegation in the current league campaign.
