The Operations Manager of West Africa Football Academy (WAFA) George Ofosuhene-Peprah says Asante Kotoko doesn’t have anything extraordinary apart from theeir past achievements.
The experience football administrator who believes that apart from past glory Kotoko has got nothing extraordinary to leapfrog his for side for a win sounds so confident that he is going to win the match with the Ghanaian giants on Sunday, January 17, 2021.
Speaking on Kumasi based Ash 101.1 FM, George Ofosuhene noted that both teams are going to use Eleven players so there is nothing to be afraid.
“Kotoko is boasting of their past achievements, but on the pitch, we are going to use Eleven players each which doesn’t make them extraordinary. We are going to win the match.”
On the preparations of the Academy lads, he said, ” We are leaving no stone unturned to ensure our victory over Kotoko. We are not afraid of meeting Kotoko because we are in good shape.”
Sogakope has been a dreadful venue for the visitors-recording some surprising results.
However, Asante Kotoko in their last visit recorded a draw and would want to better or maintain that outcome of the previous game.
WAFA is ahead of Asante Kotoko on the league log. The Academy boys are on the 4th position with 13 points while the Porcupine Warriors lie 6th position with 12 point with a game in hand.
