Aduana Stars stunned Kotoko 1-0 at the Accra Sports Stadium last weekend and General Captain, Emmanuel Akuoko believes that his side is now revved up to battle for the League title.
The Ogya lads have had up and down performance in the ongoing 2020/21 season.
Central defender, Emmanuel Akuoko, has stated categorically that the Dormaa-based club has been resuscitated to fire up for the league trophy following their win over Asante Kotoko SC.
When quizzed if the players of Aduana Stars are going to build on Kotoko’s victory in an interview with Opemsuo 104.7fm, Emmanuel Akuoko said, “We are definitely going to build on this historic win to push for the league title which is our target this season.”
He reckoned that, “Ever since we secured Premiership status, Aduana Stars always compete for the league title and this year will be no exception. We are steadily pushing to the top.”
Aduana Stars will host Ebusua Dwarfs at their favourite Nana Agyemang Badu I park this weekend.
The Ogya team is on the 5th position on the league log with 16 points.
