Head coach of the Black Satellites Karim Zito has named his starting line up to play against Morocco this evening in the second group game of the ongoing 2021 TOTAL U-20 Africa Cup of Nations in Mauritania Stade Municipal Nouadhibou.
The Ghana U-20 side will face Morocco in their second Group C match this evening, and coach Karim Zito has made just one change to his stating XI that trounced Tanzania by 4-0 in Ghana’s group opening match.
Midfielder Patrick Mensah has been preferred over Eric Appiah who started in the game against Tanzania.
The Ghanaian side are per the line up, expected to face the test from Morocco in a 4-3-3 formation with two holding Midfielders in Emmanuel Essiam and Patrick Mensah with Abdul Fatawu Issahaku completing the midfield. Goalkeeper Ibrahim, who doubles as the skipper of the side will be shielded by Philimon Baffour, Samuel Abbey-Ashie Quaye, Frank Assinki and Nathaniel Adjei in defence.
In attack, Zito will deploy Mohammed Sulemana, Percious Boah, Joselpho Barnes who will be responsible for getting the goals for the West African side.
Both Ghana and Morocco won their first matches in the group and a win for either side in today’s match will qualify the team concerned to the quarter finals of the tournament.
