Former Asante Kotoko striker Richard Arthur started his first game for the struggling Premier League side International Allies in the 2020/21 season.
Arthur returned into the Ghana Premier League after parting ways with Premier League giants Asante Kotoko SC.
His debut game was marked with a victory for International Allies who have gone seven games without a win.
Allies scored the only goal that handed them that crucial victory through Nafiu Sulemana on the 65th minute.
Though the experienced goal-scorer did not hit the back of the net, his general performance was impressive to win the Man of the match award.
Arthur came close to scoring in the first half but his dipping short was tipped over the frame by goalkeeper Sabi Acquah.
He again came close to start his journey with at least a goal in one-on-one situation with the visiting goalkeeper but his shot feebly into the arms to fail to double the lead for the Eleven is to one side.
The industrious striker has been tipped to aid Inter Allies from the relegation zone.
The Tema-based club is now occupying 18th position with 11 points after 14 matches.
