MaThe Minister of Youth and Sports, Hon Mustapha Ussif (MP), on Thursday, began his nationwide tour of sporting facilities under renovation from the Accra Sports Stadium.
The Member of Parliament was accompanied by the Chief Director of the Ministry, Alhaji Hafiz Adam, Director General of the National Sports Authority, Prof Peter Twumasi, MD of AESL (Consultant), Architect Isaac Adjei Marfo, representatives of the contractor, and other officers from the Ministry of Youth and Sports, and National Sports Authority.
Detailed scope of work in all three phases of the renovation was discussed with the minister by the consultant and same inspected.
After the inspection, Hon. Mustapha Ussif commended the contractor for good work done so far and asked him to complete the remaining works quickly to pave way for handing over the facility to Sports Ministry and the National Sports Authority to resume full operation.
