Asante Kotoko head coach Mariano Barreto has named his starting XI against West African Football Academy in the Ghana Premier League (GPL) Matchday 26 tie on Saturday, 22nd May 2021 at the Obuasi Len Clay Stadium.
The captain of the team Felix Annan takes back his position in the posts ahead of Razak Abalora. The defence pair will see Abdul Ganiu and Yusif Mubarik, supported on the right and left-back positions by Habib Mohammed and Imoro Ibrahim respectively.
“The Hawk” Emmanuel Gyamfi replaces Osman Ibrahim and will operate the wings with Augustine Okrah. Super-clossal talent, Andy Kumi, leads the attack for the Porcupines and he would receive a mammoth help from Augsutine Okrah, Emmanuel Gyamfi and Brazilian offensive midfielder, Fabio Gama.
A win in today’s game will leapfrog Kotoko to the top of the league log with 48 points.
