Nkoranza Warriors SC Skipper Samuel Frimpong has emphatically stated that, his outfit will make it to the top four before the end of the 2020/21 Division One League campaign.
The Possible Believers started the season poorly after parting ways with their head coach Stephen Frimpong Manso few days to the commencement of the league. His departure cost the team entirely as they needed to change their technical team handlers.
Their performance in the first round was very abysmal as they became the whipping boys in the Division One League Zone One.
Frimpong in the second round have led his charges to turn the fortunes of the club after lifting them from 12th position to the top eight. Currently they sit 7th on the league standings with 29 points after match day 21.
Speaking in an exclusive interview with Ghanasportspage.com reporter Kolog Bonaventure, he admitted that the team went into crisis but are back on track and hopefully will make it to the top four at the end of the season.
“We were struggling from the start of the season no two ways about it, we encountered some difficulties but all the same it’s part of the game. We went down but we are back, the inclusion of the new players meant that we take time to pick up the pieces”
“Our style of play changed after some players had left the club”, the attacking midfielder said.
“Change of technical direction also meant we take it slow in games because of adoption but all the same, things are working out for us though officiating has also not being good with us”
Samuel added that; “Our performance this round has being good and fantastic, we haven’t lost a single game and we don’t intend to loss our guide”
“We are capable of securing the second or third place at the end of the season. The team is on fire and ready to battle it in the remaining games to aid our finish in the top four”
“By Grace, Nkoranza Warriors SC will make it to the top four trust me”
Nkoranza Warriors SC are 7th on the league log with 29 points after 21 league games.
