Asante Kotoko midfielder Fabio Gama was adjudged the best player in their 1-0 victory over Ashantigold on Sunday afternoon.
The hard-working Brazilian was a tireless performer as the Reds saw off the challenge presented by the Miners. Gama marshalled the central part of the field for the Porcupines with finesse.
The Brazilian scored the only goal of the match in the 23rd-minute when he outsmarted his marker and head home from Patrick Asmah’s cross. It was his third goal for the club – all in league matches and his fourth in all competitions this season.
