Former Ghana Premier League side Techiman City FC have withdrawn from the ongoing Division One League, Ghanasportspage.com has gathered.
The aggrieved club based in the Techiman metropolis have opted to end their campaign in the 2020/21 National Division One despite playing more than 20 league games.
The club is expected to make an official announcement in the coming hours having failed to honor their match day 23 league game against Steadfast FC.Techiman City FC were scheduled to play Steadfast FC on Sunday at the Aliu Mahama Stadium, however they failed to make it for the game.
Weeks ago, the club released statement of being maltreated and targeted by some officials to see them suffer following their club President Kwadwo Ntim popularly known as Micky Charles outspoken style against the Ghana Football Association (GFA).
Currently, Techiman City sit 15th on the league standing with 14 points having played 22 league games.
