Division One League (DOL) side, Phar Rangers have made a u-turn on their decision to withdraw from all Ghana Football Association (GFA) organised competitions.
On Monday, June 7, 2021, the club owned by Asante Kotoko CEO, Nana Yaw Amponsah announced their decision to pull out of Ghana football. The management believed the Football Association in a deliberate attempt want to relegate the club from the Division One League with some bad officiating and poor decisions impose on the club by the FA.
However, on Wednesday, June 9, 2021, the club have released a statement announcing their return into Ghana Football after intervention from GHALCA and other top brass in Ghana football.
Phar Rangers currently occupy the 14th position of the Division One League Zone 3 and are into the Round 32 of the MTN FA Cup after ousting Dreams FC in the Round of 64.
Phar Rangers was founded in 2015 by Nana Yaw Amponsah who contested the 2019 Ghana Football Association presidential elections.
