Premiership bound Tano Bofoakwa have been judged winners of their Division One League game against Kintampo FC.
The Sunyani based outfit traveled to face Kintampo FC in their Division One League match day 22 at the Rawlings park. However, due to park invasion the game ended abruptly leading to a protest by the visiting team.
After weeks of sitting, the Ghana Football Association Disciplinary Committee have effected ruling to that giving the petitioner what he requested in accordance with article 33(1)(b) of GFA Division One League regulations.
For Kintampo FC initiating the acts responsible for causing the abrupt end of the match, Kintampo FC shall forfeit the match in accordance with Article 33 (1)(b) of the GFA Division One League regulations.
That having been found to have forfeited the match, Kintampo FC shall be considered as having lost the match in accordance with Article 33 (2) and (12) of the GFA Division One League regulations and accordingly, three points and three(3) goals are hereby awarded in favor of Bofoakwa Tano FC.
In addition, Kintampo FC have been fined Two Thousand five hundred Ghana Cedis (GHC 2,500.00) payable to the GFA for which 50% shall be paid to Tano Bofoakwa.
Bofoakwa Tano FC has been declared winners of the Division One League Matchweek 22 game against Kintampo FC which ended abruptly.
They currently sit summit of Division One zone one league with 52 points, two points better off second place Real Tamale United.
