Enterprising Accra Lions FC dropped an important point on Sunday in their Division One League matchday 26 fixture following a defeat to Nania FC.
A second half header for the homers, Nania FC ensured they annex all maximum points at the Legon Nania park after having their game postponed to Sunday morning as a result of heavy down pour of rain on Saturday.
A 69th minute goal was the only strike that made the difference with a bitter defeat to Zone Three leaders Accra Lions FC. A cross from the left flank found Kwame Atadana who scored for the hosts with a header.
Accra Lions FC despite effecting changes with the introduction of Micheal Bempong and Fredrick Asante could still not find the antidote to the homers sterling performance especially in the first half.
Though, they lost a crucial point but Accra Lions FC still maintain the top spot of the Zone with 53 points.
