Former Hearts of Oak SC midfielder Christopher Bonney has wished the Phobians well as they take on bitter rivals Asante Kotoko on Sunday in the ongoing Ghana Premier League.
The Ghanaian midfielder is urging Hearts of Oak SC to stun Asante Kotoko SC with a win on Sunday.
The Phobians who are currently occupying the summit of the 2020/21 Ghana Premier League table after 30 league games, will be facing the Porcupine Warriors in the blockbuster encounter at the Accra Sports Stadium.
The much anticipated game is expected to decide who wins the 2020/21 Ghana Premier League with both teams having in their nets 56 points each.
A win for Accra Hearts of Oak SC will mean the end of their long standing trophy drought having gone over a decade without any major silverware. They last won the Ghana Premier League in 2009.
Meanwhile, Asante Kotoko SC will also be hoping to increase their trophy cabinet with the 25th one.
However, Christopher Bonney who played for Ebusua Dwarfs and later joined Hearts of Oak SC wants the Capital based outfit to light the stadium with the rainbow colors to signify victory after full time action.
He took to his twitter handle, backing his former team for a victory on Sunday against the Porcupine Warriors.
