Black Satellites skipper Ibrahim Danlad strongly believe his outfit King Faisal will trade in next season Ghana Premier League despite struggles.
The young Goalkeeper before the start of the 2020/21 league campaign joined the Insha Allah Boys on a season long loan from giant’s Asante Kotoko SC. His move was to secure more playing time following the arrival of Razak Abalora.
Danlad, 20, has being an instrumental member of King Faisal, helping the side to cement a place in the last 15 teams who will maintain their stands for next season league. King Faisal though have chalked good results especially in the second round of the campaign but are still battling relegation.
Currently, they sit 15th on the league log with 37 points.
King Faisal failed to beat Asante Kotoko SC on Sunday to escape relegation completely. However, Danlad Ibrahim is optimistic of winning their remaining Premier League games to stay in the topflight.
“Anyone who has followed King Faisal will agree that our performance in the second round has skyrocketed”.
“As a player I don’t want my story to be scripted that I took King Faisal as a team to relegation”, he told Opemsuo FM in Kumasi.
“We will surely survive relegation”.
King Faisal will host Mysterious Ebusua Dwarfs on Saturday at the Nana Ohene Ameyaw park for their match day 33 clash.
