Sensational midfielder and captain, Mohammed Ayabah, of Division Two side, IBT FC, scored the first hattrick in this season’s Division Two league on thursday at the Tema Community Park in their game Rences Fc.
The player who has been on an exceptional form since the season begun achieved this feat in a game which was described as a very difficult one.
The three goals which came in both halves of the game were enough to secure the three points for his side who are bent on gaining promotion into the Division One league next season.
Speaking after the game, the captain attributed his performance to “hard work and the guidance of his coach”.
He added that, “this is just the beginning of great exploits to come in the league. There is more to come from me and the team”.
The talented midfielder has been on the radar of a number of top premier league clubs in Ghana and scouts abroad. His ball holding skills and offensive mindset has been the center of attention.
