Asante Kotoko board of Directors will finally hold a meeting on Tuesday, August 24, 2021 to discuss the way forward of the club head of the 2021-22 football season, according to a report filed by Opemsuo radio.
The 12-member board of the Porcupines were due to meet right after the end of the season but a reported internal wrangling delayed their meeting.
Supporters seem to be in a state of aggravated despair, as they are gradually being divided sharply. However, the good news is that the board will finally meet tomorrow to discuss the current happenings at the club.
Opemsuo confirmed the meeting would take place on Tuesday without specifying the time.
Among the agendas of the meeting will be the fate of head coach, Mariano Barrero, as is the future of some players whose contracts are due to expire in the coming months.
Nana Yaw Amponsah’s first year as Chief Executive Officer will be assessed at the meeting.
Also, the board, together with Nana Yaw Amponsah will deliberate on players who will be leaving the club as well as those who will be added to boost the squad ahead of next season among others.
