Head coach of Asante Kotoko, Mariano Barreto has written to the management of Asante Kotoko demanding a return ticket to Ghana.
The former Black stars coach left the shores of Ghana to his country after the end of the 2020-21 season.
In a letter sighted by Kessben Sports, the Portuguese taskmaster noted that the club should as matter of urgency get his return ticket to the West African nation ready as he plans to return and start the pre-season soon.
The tone of his letter suggests he’s ready to start pre-season with the club despite the impasse between himself and the management of the club.
Before Barreto left the country, the gaffer granted series of interviews pointing out the shortcomings of the Nana Yaw Amponsah management.
There’s currently bad blood between the management and the head coach fueling reports in the local media that the Kumasi-based football may terminate his contract before the 2021-22 season commences.
