National Division one side, Samartex FC 1996 have secured the signature of highly rated defender Solomon Adansi on a free transfer, ghanasportspage.com can confirm.
The versatile center back as close to joining Ghana Premier League side Karela United but his move has seen a late twist as he completed his medical with the second tier club on Friday.
The 21-year-old is expected to sign two years deal for Samartex and will join his new teammates immediately on Sunday, October 10 ahead Divsion Super League-pre season tournament.
Adansi was free agent after his contract with Wassaman FC run out at the end of last season.
He joined Wassaman during the second round of last term where he featured in 8 games, scored 2 goals and won one-mana-of-the-match award.
The young center-half has been tipped to reach higher height after his stunning season with Nzema Kotoko in 2019, helping the the team finish second in the Normalization tier 2 competition, while he playing almost all the games.
The Ghanaian transfer window closes on October 9, 12 midnight hence, there is few hour left to shut it after a month of player transfers.
