Division One League side New Edubiase Football Club has unveiled six new players alongside Ghanaian popular actor Kwadwo Nkansa Lilwin.
The renowned movie actor signed two years for ‘Yenko Nkoaa’ and will serve as an ambassador of will be sometimes featured in some of their games.
Speaking to Happy FM in Accra, the Kumawood actor disclosed that he has joined New Edubiase Football Club and he is set to work for them on both on and off the pitch. He said.
“It is time to play football. I have signed two years for New Edubiase United”, he told Happy FM.
“I will be playing in the Number 7 position or any other position in the midfield. The coach is the one who requested for my signature. The CEO wants me as the ambassador but the Coach also wants me as a player. I can be in action for first 45 minutes and moving forward I can last for entire 90 minutes. As long as I play for New Edubiase United no team will defeat us.” He gallantly stated.
The actor who doubled as musician was unveiled alongside six other players today at Adjringanor in the Greater Accra Region today.
With agreement made today with the bankroller of the club Abdul Salam Yakubu, the comic actor will be with the Division One side for the next two years.
