Dubai returnees Asante Kotoko have scheduled to play Division One side Asokwa Deportivo on Wednesday at the Adako Jachie training ground as part of their preparations for the 2021/22 GPL season.
The club arrived in Ghana two days ago after the Dubai pre-season trip.
The game is said to be kicked off on Wednesday morning at the training ground of the Dubai Borga’s.
Kotoko are trying to bounce back with an ambitions to win the GPL title. Kotoko was left out the race last season for their biggest rivals Accra Hearts to win double, both the GPL and the MTN FA Cup.
The clash against the former Kwadwo Asamoah’s club will be Kotoko’s last preseason game and a game for their gaffer Dr. Prosper Nartey to fill the pot holes of the club before their GPL opener against Deams FC on Sunday.
The Ghana Premier League 2021/22 season kicks off Friday 29th October but Kotoko will travel to battle Dreams on Saturday as their season opener at the Accra Sports Stadium.
