Bankroller of New Edubiase Football Club, Abdul Salam Yakubu has explained why he signed popular Kumawood actor, Kwadwo Nkansah ‘Lil Win’ to be in the colours of the Division One Club.
The comic actor also doubled as a part time musician which seems to be multi talented.
His signing was announced in the past days in East Legon among other six players.
In some previous statement, Lil Win was basically snatched for an ambassadorial job but in an interview with the gaffer, Abdul Salam Yakubu on ghanasportepage.com he explained what actually pushed him for the signature of the comic actor.
“I personally scouted Lil Win and captured his talent as a footballer and introduced him to our coach. He trained in front of me and realized that he can play apart from the movie acting.
“He personally agreed to step away from the acting for two seasons so that he can concentrate on his football career that’s why we signed him for two years.
“He trains with us and even he is part of the team that will be played this weekend. He is okay. He explained.
