Aduana Stars failed to extend their unbeaten run to seven after a 1-0 defeat to Medeama SC in Tarkwa.

Ahmedabad Toure of Burkina Faso scored the only goal of the game to hand the home side a vital win.

High-flying King Faisal slipped from their position after conceding a second defeat of the season to Bechem United in their away game of week 10 through ex-Kotoko star Augustine Okrah.

On Saturday afternoon the defending champions Hearts of Oak traveled from the capital city to Dewu to lock horns against Dreams FC. The game produced four goals which ended 2-2.

Hearts of Oak opened the scoreline with a scintillating strike from U20 star Daniel Afriyie Barnieh.

Dreams FC later equalized and doubled it courtesy of Issah Ibrahim and Dede Ishmael.

Dreams FC tried to snatch the maximum points but Salim Adams, former New Edubiase youngster rescued Hearts of Oak to level the game during the dying minutes of the second 45.

Elsewhere, Asante Kotoko trashed underperforming WAFA 1-0 at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium to mark Boxing Day.

Richmond Lamptey was a leader of the troop to hand Kotoko the slim victory. On other hand, Stephen Badu also scored the only goal in the game between Berekum Chelsea and Obuasi AshantiGold to whip the Miners.

Impressively, Bibiani Gold Stars belabored Karela United 3-1 at the Dun’s Park.

Through penalty, Prince Owusu scored his fourth goal of the season to take the lead for the home side. Charles Gyamfi and Nuhu Sule were on the scoreboard for the Gold Stars whiles Umar Bashiru also scored from a spot-kick as a consolation for the Anyinase boys.

To conclude, Accra-based Great Olympics marked Boxing Day with a 2-0 victory over Techiman Eleven Wonders.

Yussif Razak and James Akaminko scored two goals within two minutes during the 35th and the 37th minute to put Olympics on a comfortable lead.

On Monday, 27th December 2021 Accra Lions will host Real Tamale United whiles Elmina Sharks also welcomes the ‘Royals’ Legon Cities to the Nduom Sports Complex, Elmina to finalize Week 10 of the Ghana Premier League.
