Gold Stars were defeated at home by the title holders of the GPL, Accra Hearts of Oak by a lone goal courtesy James Sewornu.
Michael Osei insists the week 12 encounter against the Rainbows was a game that they shouldn’t have lost checking the performance of his team.
It was a first ever GPL clash between the two sides.
During the closing remarks of the game, Michael Osei disclosed “Yeah, I will not use the word disappointed but I feel for the boys, the playing body because they played very well, they did their best. It was very unfortunate that this is the game we shouldn’t have lost but that’s football. Is a very strange game, sometimes such results happen and then you cannot understand but we have to move on and then see the next game.” Says the coach.
