The Black Stars are poised for action as they play against Gabon in their second match of Group C of the TotalEngine Africa Cup of Nations in Younde, Cameroon on Friday evening.
After their last training on Thursday evening, the Stars showcased the level of morale in camp ahead of the make or break tie, as the players engaged in an absolute gripping cheer songs to release any form of boredom, pressure and nervousness that may have psychologically entangled their minds.
In the absence of the team’s usual entertainer among the players in camp, Asamoah Gyan who failed to make the squad this time, the Ghana Black Stars players are seen in the “gyama” video forming a circle, seemingly led by captain Andre Ayew as they sing songs like “Let your mighty power come down now, Hwe se dee osoro abofo tow nnwom, Yeretutu yen nan se nnea okwantufo retu” among others.
Ghana will play technically as the away side against Gabon on Friday, January 14 at 19:00HRS GMT at the Stade Ahmadou Ahidjo,Yaoundé.
