Ghana legend Anthony Baffoe has gingered up the Black Stars with a passionate speech after he called on the players at their training grounds after their last training session on Thursday evening ahead of the match against Gabon in Cameroon.
The Black Stars will lock horns with the Panthers of Gabon on Friday night at the Stade Ahmadou Ahidjo,Yaoundé, Cameroon in their second group game of the ongoing Africa Cup of Nations.
The former Ghana defender charged the Black Stars players to sweat for the nation, sweat for the flag, sweat for the jersey, and sweat for their families to make Ghana proud against Gabon. The Black Stars will have to channel out an improved display against Gabon to reshape their hope of qualifying to the next stage of the competition.
The CAF deputy general secretary, Baffoe, was with the players along with other former players such as Ibrahim Tanko, Sammy Kuffour, Maxwell Konadu and Richard Kingson whose presence is expected to be a motivation for the players.
