The draw for the FIFA World Cup qualifiers play-offs in Africa has been conducted by the Confederation of Africa Football in Cameroon.
The Black Stars of Ghana will play their West African counterpart, Nigeria in the 2022 World Cup qualifiers play-offs in Qatar.
A total of ten teams qualified for the final qualifications to be held in Qatar.
Nigeria is part of the five highest-ranked Nations in Africa as Ghana is among the five least ranked teams.
The first leg of the encounter will be played at the home of the lower-ranked teams meaning Ghana will host Nigeria in the first leg before the second clash.
Ghana will be looking to make amends after they failed to qualify for the last 16 of the ongoing Africa Cup of Nations after losing 3-2 to Comoros.
Ghana advanced from Group F of the first round of the qualifiers ahead of South Africa, Zimbabwe, and Ethiopia with 13points.
Nigeria also qualified from Group C with 13points ahead of Cape Verde, Central Africa Republic and Liberia.
On the other side, the Indomitable Lions of Cameroon also clashed with Algeria whiles the most successful football nation in Africa, Egypt will play highest-ranked Africa national team Senegal.
All the games will be played between March 24th and 29th.
